Data Security
  • IntelLinx partners with a world class cloud provider Rackspace © for all our hosting services, giving us 24x7x365 uptime and monitoring with around the clock IT staffing.
  • Rackspace offers 9 hosting locations worldwide including 110,000 cloud computing customers.
  • Your data is not sitting on a single server; the advanced architecture powering our software uses groups of high-performance network attached storage devices to reliably serve every request. Inside each storage device, drives are mirrored to each other in a RAID (Redundant Array of Independent Disks) configuration to create a first level of redundancy and as a final precautionary measure, all data on the system is automatically backed up on a repeating schedule.
  • Rackspace backs up every four hours, which totals six daily backups. Those backups are then rolled into a nightly backup, which are retained for two days.
  • IntelLinx performs a secondary database backup every four (4) hours replicating the data to our own secondary data center. All secondary backups are retained for a minimum of 12 months.
  • Each new Association we receives  a dedicated 256-bit, SSL certificate with 99.9% browser recognition.
  • All connections to our software is secured using SSL encryption.
PCI Security
  • IntelLinx does NOT retain any customer credit card information.
  • We use PCI compliant payment gateways to safeguard all customer information.
Physical Security
  • Keycard protocols, biometric scanning protocols and round-the-clock interior and exterior surveillance monitor access to our data centers.
  • Only authorized data center personnel are granted access credentials to the data centers. No one else can enter the production area of the datacenter without prior clearance and an appropriate escort.
  • Every data center employee undergoes multiple and thorough background security checks before they are hired.
Precision Environment
  • Every data center’s HVAC (Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning) system is N+1 redundant. This ensures that a duplicate system immediately comes online should there be an HVAC system failure
  • Every 90 seconds, all the air in the data centers are circulated and filtered to remove dust and contaminants
  • The advanced fire suppression systems are designed to stop fires from spreading in the unlikely event one should occur
Conditioned Power
  • Should a total utility power outage ever occur, all of our data centers’ power systems are designed to run uninterrupted, with every server receiving conditioned UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) power.
  • The UPS power subsystem is N+1 redundant, with instantaneous failover if the primary UPS fails.
  • If an extended utility power outage occurs, our routinely tested, on-site diesel generators can run indefinitely.
Core Routing Equipment
  • Only fully redundant, enterprise-class routing equipment is used in the data centers.
  • Fiber carriers enter the data centers at disparate points to guard against service failure.
Network Staff
  • Our provider requires that the networking and security teams working in their data centers be certified. They also require that they be thoroughly experienced in managing and monitoring enterprise level networks.
  • The Certified Network Technicians are trained to the highest industry standards.
